There are getting to be enough hangers that we need to be conscious of the trees in campgrounds. I’m going to start hauling 2″ whenever we might be hanging in a heavy use spot. The vision of my mass drawing a piece of amsteel into the “usual place” in a polypro loop makes me worry about wear on something besides the tree. If I add a 42 g. ‘biner to protect the strap we are up to the weight of the seatbelt web. That is exactly what I’ll do for now. When might we see a 2″ Dutchclip or other dignified attachment?
