These hooks receive a standard spreader bar at the head end, which keeps the hammockers apart yet together and under the same tarp. You can hang from the same two trees and feel close to the one who smells better than you. I recommend that you use a 32″ spreader bar. You will have to hang the hammock slightly higher than usual.
