Hello Dutch – For construction of a down top quilt with 2.5″ baffle, should I use the pre-cut mesh baffle strips, or go 3.5″ to allow for the sewn seems? I’ve read where do-it-yourselfers use the mesh baffle strips slightly smaller than the planned expanded down-filled baffle. Hope you can help. Also, the web site says you are currently out of thread. I’ll be needing black. When will this be restocked? Thanks
