Just bought this kit a few weeks ago and sewed it up for a weeklong backpacking trip through the Gems in the Grand Canyon. I have to say, this pillow was worth its weight in gold! Weighs virtually nothing, stuffs in anywhere, and gives me just the right head angle for a great nights sleep, especially when put on top of my accusations first sit pad. Main reason I initially bought it was so I could have something to use in the airplane as well, and it was perfect for that too. The fabric is a bit slick to sew, so I recommend hand sewing a few corners instead of messing with pins, and then stitching it through before inverting the pillow and adding the insulation and stitching up the top center.. Unfortunately I left my last pillow in the airplane on a flight back home because I was so rushed to make a transfer, so I’m buying kit #2. As with all the gear I get from Dutch, this pillow is a permanent addition to my pack. No more folding up a puffy jacket I may or may not need to wear, this is coming with me from here on out, whether I’m on the ground or in my hammock.
