Description Alpaca Everyday Socks – Stripy Alpaca Everyday Stripy Socks are designed for everyday wear in shoes or boots. Super-soft, comfortable and lightweight, they are available in various sizes and colours. Alpaca fibre is hard-wearing and provides excellent insulation and great wicking (breathing) properties, ensuring your feet remain dry and warm. Alpaca socks are highly recommended for sufferers of conditions such as chilblains, arthritis, Raynaud’s, diabetics or simply bad circulation – you’ll be amazed at the difference! Alpaca fibre is unusual in that it resists odours and moisture, and therefore our socks do not need washing after every wear making them a sustainable and environmentally friendly option. These high-quality socks are made using traditional socks-making methods with hand-linked seams for comfort. We have socks made from the natural colours of alpacas (they come in 23 different shades!) – including ivory, ash grey, tawny brown and charcoal. Our coloured socks are dyed using a sustainable dyeing process. Everyday socks are also available in contrast and plain styles. Our alpaca called Caramac, as a cria (baby alpaca), is the alpaca face on our everyday sock labels! Lovingly made in England. Composition: 55% alpaca with nylon added for elasticity except Blue/Charcoal which is 54% alpaca, 18% merino wool and nylon.
